If only I was a Hilton, instead of a Budget Inn...

...I would have spent this past Saturday in NYC for fashion week at the hottest ticket in town: Alexander Wang's after-party at a gas station. Yep, the most beautiful, coolest fashion people were partying at a gas station (crazy New Yorkers). I would have been dancing my toes off next to Erin Wasson while Santigold and Courtney Love played. I also would have been reunited with my school-girl crush, Jordan Catalano (Mr. Leto). Oh how I use to drool over the soulful hunk while watching My So-Called Life.

Scandal at Melrose Place

When CW introduced the new 90210 ,I was excited until I watched an episode and was disappointed. So I was a little sceptical when they announced the new Melrose Place. MP was one of my favorite shows in the 90's so I think it's natural to think the new Melrose can't compare to the original.

The new cast definitely looks more fierce, worldly and sexier. But let's see if they can live up to the original cast.

After tuning in on Tuesday, I have to admit it was a little bit of a disappointment again. Although it was a delight to see Sidney's character return. She was my favorite bad girl.

The character's of the new MP have a much better fashion sense. Although I do remember thinking the original characters were so stylish and pretty at that time.

The new MP definitely has better style but I have yet to see any male characters as hot as Jake!

Gotta Have It: Pattern Nylons

Nylons are back in action.

I worked at Victoria's Secret in college and despised the dress attire policy of wearing nylons -- even in the summer! But now I'm loving the pattern nylon trend. I'm looking forward to sporting some with boots for fall. I bought a pair a few months ago but couldn't bear to wear them in the summer heat. What do you think - yay or nah?
