photo via Dwell magazine Although I have a strong love for Victorian-style homes, I can't help being drawn to contemporary modern ones as well. I find the minimalist approach aesthetically appealing and I love the sleek lines and structure of modern homes. No fuss and just plain cool!
In addition, I absolutely adore a contemporary home that has lots of windows. Even though I am sure I would be annoyed with peeping toms, I still think gigantic windows are fabulous! They look so stylish and let in so much more light.
Tons of large windows and right on the beach. I'd like to move in asap!

While I'm not a fan of the contemporary homes, I certainly wouldn't complain if I had that gorgeous beachfront home with the windows all around! That'd be heaven, especially right now. Fun post!

ReplyDeleteI agree, I prefer older bulidings aswell but some contemporary houses does have 'it'; apart from the large windows and the sleek "No fuzz" look, I like the ones where tree is used as building material, partly or totally (like in the pics above).
