Everything has it's place

Spring is a time to organize !! You know what they say....the way your home looks is a direct reflection of how your life is. A messy home (and I think your car qualifies too) means a messy you. Oh no! I don't want that!
I have to admit there must be truth to this because I ALWAYS feel more in control of my life when these things are in order. And I ALWAYS feel a little unsettled when things are a mess. But I am definitely not a neat freak so I don't think my closet could stay this organized for too long. Something to aspire for, right?

In the spirit of spring I bought these cute daffodils at Trader Joe's yesterday. Pretty good find for $3.00.

After my organizing session I am off to enjoy the beautiful weather!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

  1. it is gorgeous out today. hope you make the most of it!

  2. I'm drooling over that organization!!!!! I wish I had the space for it here.

  3. oh my! i was just writing about how disorganized i am!!! i totally agree with you messy home messy me! im pulling my hair out right now trying to reorganize!!

  4. Hi! I just came across your lovely blog today :) and I totally agree, keeping your space neat any tidy is a necessity! I love uncluttered spaces and am constantly going through my closet, assessing what I need and what I would like to give away to charity. I like the organizer you featured above! Do you know, has it been custom built or can is it available to purchase?

  5. I am loving those daffodils and off to TJ's to pick some up. Spring brings so much light and I am glad that the weather is lovely here in San Francisco as well. Have a great weekend Underfunded!

  6. Apparently by organizing one's life and house one can lose a few pounds!

Thus I've been cleaning like mad hoping for those few pounds to shed!

I love flowers in the spring time.
They really do brighten up the room!

My favorite are white mums ^.^

  7. I love daffodils! =] And I'm beginning my spring organization/clean-up as well! I find it quite satisfying, lol.

  8. Oh my god I just clapped when I saw your post. I would LOVE my closet (or anything) to be that organized!!

  9. Daffodils are such a pretty flower. I love how cheery they are.

And yes! I am with you on the organization thing. I have bouts of organization and then bouts of chaos. It's like a cycle for me.

  10. Oh and ps. the Aroma Cafe in LA that I am talking about is this one:

There are a few, so make sure that this is the one you try. It's lovely. It has an ajoining gift/book store and the back patio is adorable.
