Everything has it's place

photo via Apartment Therapy

Spring is a time to organize !! You know what they say....the way your home looks is a direct reflection of how your life is. A messy home (and I think your car qualifies too) means a messy you. Oh no! I don't want that!
I have to admit there must be truth to this because I ALWAYS feel more in control of my life when these things are in order. And I ALWAYS feel a little unsettled when things are a mess. But I am definitely not a neat freak so I don't think my closet could stay this organized for too long. Something to aspire for, right?

In the spirit of spring I bought these cute daffodils at Trader Joe's yesterday. Pretty good find for $3.00.

After my organizing session I am off to enjoy the beautiful weather!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

  4. Hi! I just came across your lovely blog today :) and I totally agree, keeping your space neat any tidy is a necessity! I love uncluttered spaces and am constantly going through my closet, assessing what I need and what I would like to give away to charity. I like the organizer you featured above! Do you know, has it been custom built or can is it available to purchase?

  5. I am loving those daffodils and off to TJ's to pick some up. Spring brings so much light and I am glad that the weather is lovely here in San Francisco as well. Have a great weekend Underfunded!

  6. Apparently by organizing one's life and house one can lose a few pounds!

Thus I've been cleaning like mad hoping for those few pounds to shed!

I love flowers in the spring time.
They really do brighten up the room!

  9. Daffodils are such a pretty flower. I love how cheery they are.

And yes! I am with you on the organization thing. I have bouts of organization and then bouts of chaos. It's like a cycle for me.

There are a few, so make sure that this is the one you try. It's lovely. It has an ajoining gift/book store and the back patio is adorable.
