I don't know if it's because I'm just getting older or just so over the party scene (and have been for awhile), I really dislike living in a noisy rowdy area. The neighborhood, especially on a holiday weekend, is one big frat party!

Don't get me wrong, I like to have fun and go to a nice party here and there.

I always struggle with this. Huntington Beach is pretty and I live one block up from the beach at a great price for so cal. But its so rowdy. I just want my home to be peaceful and quiet. Am I asking for too much?

Oh girly. I know exactly what you mean, all to well. Ive never lived in Huntington, but my ex did and it's so hard because you can get the cutest place right by the beach, but then it turns into a total frat scene around holidays like this. And then the 4th of July...

I love HB and have friends that live there, but have never lived there....I totally know where you are coming from though!
ReplyDeleteI lived right smack in downtown Fullerton for 5 years and it was VERY noisy too!
ack! who wants to be near fratness! i am not much for parties. and i loooooooooooove living in a nice quiet neighborhood. i wouldn't mind living by a quiet beach, but that is not in my budget. wah.
