I Have Nothing To Wear

Carrie Bradshaw's closet: photo via I Love Rags

Have you ever had a clothing item that's been hanging in your closet that you just had to buy because it was sooo cute BUT you have yet to wear? I hate to admit it but I do! This is a sign that I shop too much or I don't go out enough ;)

I bought this Victoria Secret dress last summer and haven't worn it yet. I can't even believe this because I LOVE it! It's made with a soft jersey material and such a pretty aqua blue color. I must wear this dress soon!

I have these cute Michael Kors gold espadrilles (zappos) that go perfect with it.

I love the stripes on the side.
I feel so guilty buying this dress and not wearing it, SO I promise that I will wear it on the next date that my boyfriend and I have.

  7. I just got rid of a bunch of things like that. I say "a bunch" but it was really like two. one was a pleated khaki skirt with gothic graphic designs around the hem (what am i? an emo Catholic school girl?) that I think I bought because I liked the designs and imagined they would look good on me. The other was a black blazer that I knew I would never have cause to wear EVER, but had to have cause it was a $50 blazer on clearance for $10. Plus a bunch of things I had been holding onto (and sometimes still wearing) nine years out of highschool. Yikes.
Now I am down to a happy few things in my closet, it only barely overflows. ; )

  11. I do that ALL THE TIME! It's cuz I buy it, then don't have a chance (or am not in the mood) to wear it, and then I buy new stuff and it gets pushed back. I have at least 6 dreses that I haven't worn yet :S

I second The Beauty File's question: workout secrets please! :)

  12. I have that dress! I wore it in Mexico and it's been sitting in my closet unloved ever since even though I loved how light it was and i Loved how it looked. I need to break some of those summer dresses back out, thanks for the reminder and inspiration!

  13. I want Carrie's closet! I've been spring cleaning mine and SO many things were "lost" in there. I just found, and wore, a dress I had bought from Banana Republic in '95! Yes, '95!!! It's still cute and fits.

  16. RE: The Pacific Northwest - we just went on a long weekend. Drove on Friday night from Vancouver to Everett (outside of Seattle) which took 2 hours. Then Seattle to Portland which took maybe 3. Then Portland to Seaside, which took about 3 hours to get to the coast and then 3 to meander our way up.
